Mark Sandercock Restoration 21.01.2022

This platform rocker, i believe, sat on my customer's grand parent's front porch for decades. I pulled over 40 nails out of the joints, tapped in over the years, to keep it from falling apart. With green and brown paint, mildew, years of the elements and the sun, it looked really bad. Hehe. It's better now!

The previously featured table. The veneer was replaced with cherry then a gloss lacquer was applied and after curing, an arduous rubbing out with 320 grit, 600 grit papers, then pumice and oil completed by polishing with rottenstone and oil.
