Happy National FFA Convention Week! We would normally be gearing up to head to Indy tonight for National Convention, but this year it’s virtual. It’s a hard pi...ll to swallow, as this is an event our students work hard to qualify for each year. We decided to make our own convention with ALL our members! Our leadership class has planned events for each day this week that all our members can participate in that will simulate convention. We will learn, have fun and celebrate FFA! Today, we did an industry tour. Madi Long planned an educational experience about milk goats. Today in Ag, students can milk a goat, try goats milk and test goats milk soap. Thank you to The Happy Goat and Shawntel Freiberger-Parker for allowing us to use her goat, Mya, and her goats milk products for today’s lesson.

Tonight the Belle Tigers Volleyball Team will play the Linn Wildcats for District Championship in Bourbon at 6 pm! There are some extra access tickets available if you are interested in attending. These tickets do not cover gate fee, just the opportunity to purchase a ticket. Please contact 573-859-7902 if you are interested in attending tonight's game. GO TIGERS!

Thank you to our bus drivers! We are so proud to have drivers who care so deeply about making sure our students get to and from school safely each day! They are the first smile of the day for our students and the last goodbye as the students arrive home. We are grateful for our Maries R2 drivers!

Be sure to join us tomorrow, October 24th, for the 1st annual Belle Safety Car Show! Event starts at 3pm in the HS parking lot. This is not your average car show. Students vehicles will be judged on mechanics of the vehicle and knowledge of car safety! Great chance for students to have their vehicles evaluated before winter hits by professionals! Need to be a Belle High School student to enter and possess a valid parking pass. There are several gift cards and prizes as seen below to be given away! There will also be free drawings just for entering! Concessions will be available.
