Absolutely Wonderful Esther Corey (left) and her late husband, Hugh Corey, ministered together for many years, as did Bonnie Wilkerson and her late husband, John Wilkerson. Esther and Bonnie both moved to Maranatha Village to settle into a Christian community. Esther has lived in the Village for eight years; Bonnie has made the Village her home for one year. They have similar backgrounds, know a lot of the same people, and have become good friends. Thus, it was natural for them to respond to a neighbor’s invitation to a brunch. The fellowship at Maranatha Village is absolutely wonderful!

We are in the Christmas spirit! The nursing staff had a contest to see who could decorate their unit the most festive. Everyone did such a great job and we look forward to next year being even more extravagant! The winner was assisted living with a life size gingerbread house.

Maranatha Village is seeking Nurse Aids who are willing to obtain their CNA license. We are offering classes to become certified on our campus. Classes will start January 11, 2021.

Maranatha Village’s registered swans, Kyle and Kate, have captured the attention and hearts of MV residents. They are beautiful! MV resident, Steve Mumert, has been asked to feed them twice a day during the winter months. His kindness is appreciated by all, especially Kyle and Kate!

Happy Halloween for all of us at Maranatha! We celebrated with a parade of candy and punch! We may have not had the usual way of trick or treating, but there was only treats today!!

This website has important information regarding the vaccine, including important information about the safety of the vaccine. The information on the website dispels much of the fact vs. fiction floating around about the vaccine. It is important that everyone be educated and participate in the vaccination program if we are going to beat this virus. This website is a great education tool and will be updated as more information and vaccines become available.

The ladies in Assisted Living have been making fall wreaths. Aren’t they lovely!?! (The wreaths look pretty good too ) Nice work ladies!!

We’re mad about plaid...it’s Flannel & Kettle Corn day today. Who loves this sweet ‘n salty treat? We do!

‘Tis the season to be FALL-Y! Today was our 1st Fall Fest Friday hallway parade and we celebrated by wearing scarves and serving Pumpkin Spice Lattes and sugar cookies! We also listened to a little bluegrass music too! HAPPY FALL YA’LL!!
