Maplewood Missouri Police Department

Maplewood police officers responded to a report of a disturbance at Marshalls Department Store, 3200 Laclede Station Rd., at approximately 21:30 hours on January 19. 2021. Investigating officers subsequently arrested two female subjects at the scene who were occupying a stolen truck reported by the St. Louis Metropolitan police department. Police charged both subjects with Possession of Controlled Substances, Unlawful Possession of a Concealable Firearm and Tampering 2nd Degr...ee. One of the female subjects was additionally wanted on a felony arrest warrant, and was charged as a fugitive of the St. Louis Metropolitan police department. Two male subjects, who were accompanying the females, fled prior to the arrival of police. Investigating officers identified the subjects and entered arrest orders on each of them for the charges of Tampering 1st Degree and Tampering 2nd Degree. During the investigation police seized a substantial amount of suspected heroin, fentanyl and Xanax as well as a fully loaded .25 caliber semi-automatic pistol. Maplewood Police Department would like to welcome the newest member of our team- Police Officer Christina Foerst. P.O. Foerst is a nine (9) year veteran from Hazelwood Police Department (HPD). P.O. Foerst was a Detective with Hazelwood PD for three (3) years and also a member of the Major Case Squad as a Report Writer. P.O. Foerst received an Award of Excellence while with the Major Case Squad and an additional Award of Excellence for exceptional performance of duty during h...er tenure with HPD. P.O. Foerst earned an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from University of Missouri St. Louis (UMSL) and is currently working on earning her Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice also with UMSL.

We would like to introduce Intern Teresa Black! Teresa is currently studying Criminal Justice at Pensacola Christian College and is home for the holidays. Instead of taking a Christmas break, Teresa decided to help and learn from some of Maplewood's finest.
