Gitanjali was acknowledged for her use of technology which helped her develop devices to test lead levels in water and early-stage opioid addiction. Igloos are traditional Inuit structures that can reach temperatures of up to 16 degrees Celsius (60.8 degrees Fahrenheit) simply due to body heat! But how does this work? Since fresh compacted snow is approximately 90% to 95% trapped air (meaning it can’t move and transfer heat) it’s a great insulator and keeps the heat inside the igloo.
