Macon License Office

The Macon License Office will be closed Friday the 3rd in observance of Independence Day! We will reopen on Monday the 6th at 8am. FYI.....The 6th is the Hwy Patrol Drivers Exam Station’s last day to test at the Macon Expo Center!!

We are operating our office for MOTOR VEHICLE TITLES & LICENSE PLATE RENEWALS through our WINDOWS! This has been a huge success!! Very easy, you can wait in your vehicle and we will call you when done or soak up the sunshine out on side walk ( w social distancing ). MAKE YOUR APPOINTMENT NOW for your Drivers License starting Monday 5/4/2020. We are having ...Senior Hour from 8-9am each day. Only 1 drivers license customer will come in the building at a time. CUSTOMERS, for our sake & yours please wear your masks & if ill, please wait until you are well. Identogo fingerprinting will start Monday as well. Make your Appointment online for 5/4/2020 and after. Thank your for your understanding!! We are making every effort to keep everyone safe while using our services!

The Macon License Office will be OPEN TOMORROW 4/27/2020 for Motor Vehicle Titles & registrations only. We will take your work through our front windows - NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED INSIDE THE BUILDING EXCEPT STAFF. NO DRIVERS LICENSES OR IDEMIA FINGERPRINTS at this time. The Macon License Office is CLOSED until 4/6/2020 due to COVID-19. Governor Parson approved the following extensions to provide relief to Missourians who may be affected by COVID-19. Any registration, whether it’s a renewal or a temp tag, issued from Missouri or another state is valid for 60 days after its original expiration if its original expiration is in the months of March or April.... Valid Missouri driver licenses (Class A, B, C, E, F and M), noncommercial instruction permits and nondriver licenses with original expiration dates of March 1, 2020, through April 30, 2020, have been granted an automatic 60 day extension. These licenses and permits will be considered to have a valid status for driving.

The approved extension does not waive the mandatory testing requirement for persons whose license has been expired more for more than 184 days pursuant to 302.173 RSMo. The renewal extension allowed to person with licenses expiring March 1, 2020, to April 30, 2020, does not extend the 184 day renewal period. EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY- Missouri State Hwy Patrol has suspended all skills & written testing thru 4/6/2020.
