Macon County Ministries will be having our October Monthly Distribution on Tuesday, October 20 12pm-6pm. NO MINI MONDAY UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE NO TURKEYS ... Volunteers welcomed! 12-3 or 3-6 park in the north lot and we will put you to work. Call 660.415.5998 if you have questions. Keeping the same format as last month Macon County Ministries is asking our families/participants to stay in their vehicles. Only the volunteers will be allowed in the facilities. No exceptions. No Restroom. Macon County Ministries will be having our August Monthly Distribution on Tuesday, August 18 12pm-6pm. If you typically come on the Monday before they will be open as well. We are also asking that before arriving to pick-up food to prepare the vehicles. The food will loaded in the trunks of the vehiclesnot the back seat if at all possible. Please limit the number of persons in the car so you have enough room for the food. Please have your vehicles cleaned and ready. If you are new bring your photo ID. If you have received food previously and have a card bring your CARD. If you are picking up for someone bring their CARD or ID.Our mission is to keep everyone safe by practicing social distancing as well as providing for the needs of our families/participants. Macon County Ministries located at 305 Sunset Hills Drive, south of Loch Haven nursing home, will be having our monthly distribution on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 from 12-6. NO MONDAY distribution will be held. All clients needing assistance are to come on Tuesday. Please consider volunteering from 12-3 or 3-6 (or when works for you) and park in the North Lot. This is a great time to give back to your community. Information for clients and caregivers - Please have the your pantry ID card or photo ID. If you are new please have your photo ID. If you are picking up for someone please have the clients pantry card or photo ID (a note also will suffice). Volunteers will load cars but clients might be asked to assist. Emelyn Kempker recently celebrated her 10th birthday. For her birthday she asked for canned goods to donate to our pantry. Happy Birthday and thank you for your donation!
