There will be free COVID-19 testing at the Shelby County Fairgounds on November 6 from 9 am-2 pm. You must be a Missouri resident but do not need to be showing symptoms. To register, go to health.mo.gov/communitytest

The Macon County Clerk is setting up drive by voting to give those on isolation & quarantine an opportunity to vote, while helping maintain the health and safety of the community and voting officials. This drive up voting will take place on Sunday November 1 at the Macon County Courthouse. This is by appointment only. You must call the Macon County Clerk's office by 2 pm on Thursday October 29th to schedule an appointment: 660-385-2913 Option 2. Voters must display an isolation/quarantine letter from the health department that placed you on isolation or quarantine on the dashboard when arriving for your voting time. This is an option only for people on isolation or quarantine. If you have any questions, please contact the Macon County Clerk’s office at 660-385-2913 Option 2.

October 27 COVID-19 Update

Macon County Health Department will hold its regular Board meeting on Tuesday, October 27 at 4:00 p.m. Due to the anticipated number of guests, this meeting has been moved to the Expo Center at the Macon County Park (fairgrounds), 1303 South Missouri Street in Macon, where social distancing measures can be maintained. Since this is a health department function, masking upon entering the building will be required and masks will be available upon request as needed. Guests wishing to speak will sign a roster upon entering and be allotted 5 minutes each to address the Board prior to the start of the meeting.
