Amidst #MentalIllnessAwarenessWeek, our staff was blessed with a 'mental health day' to prioritize mental wellness. We spent part of the morning enjoying some fresh air and camaraderie at Topgolf. Masks were worn, social distancing measures were taken (albeit, not in this photo), and fun was had by all!

As a reminder, the 2020 Lutheran Prayer Breakfast has been canceled. Only 8 days left until the 2020 Census closes! Here's how your organization can encourage participation in the final days. #countdowntoyourfuture 1. Join and promote a national text bank that will text people that may not have responded to the 2020 Census to get people counted! 2. Host a phone or text bank and/or encourage your staff or supporters to join one.... 3. Send an email out to your network encouraging your members or supporters to fill out the census. 4. Participate in the census challenge starting Monday Sept. 21st.. 5. Post on social media about the importance of the census. 6. Have a field organizer, community leader or your organization’s leadership write an op-ed or letter-to-the-editor about the importance of the census. 7. Educate your staff, board, and volunteers by providing virtual census questionnaire assistance. 8. Ask that your staff insert a census reminder into their email signature. 9. Add a census banner to your organization’s webpage leading to 2020census.gov.
