Congratulations to Austin for being selected to participate in Leadership Springfield Signature Class 39. Leadership Springfield is a program that selects a limited number of individuals in our community and assists those selected in raising their awareness of community needs. The program also provides the resources for current and future community engagement and impact. Although the program provides training for potential leaders in our community, one must already show some ability to lead to be chosen for the Leadership Springfield. According to Carrie Richardson, the Executive Director of Leadership Springfield, the applicant pool for this year’s classes was one of the largest and most competitive in our 35 year history.
