Happy hump day! Today, January 19 is our 5th anniversary of Family Train Center! It just doesn't seem possible. When we started this venture, we didn't know if it would go over or not. Needless to say, it is all because of you, our loyal customers turned friends it would not have happened. Thank you all!

NOTICE REGARDING THE POSSIBLE WEATHER! If the roads are bad tomorrow(Saturday), Family Train Center will be closed. Be sure and check before you come to see us. Thank you and have a safe weekend.

VENDORS! If you are interested in having a booth at the next train show, applications are going out now. The date is Saturday, March 26th, 2022, 9-3. Early set up is Friday, March 25th, 3-7. Doors will open for Saturday vendor set up by 7a.m. If you confirm by January 31st, tables will be $10/ea, otherwise, tables are $15/ea. Contact Ed Born at Family Train Center during during business hours, Tuesday-Saturday, 10-5.

Good morning! This is advanced notice that Family Train Center will be closed December 24th and 25th. We were open the last several Christmas Eve's and didn't have customers, so we made the decision this year to close both days, even though the 24th is on Friday. If you need something for your Christmas layout be sure and get it by the 23rd. Closing time is 4 p.m. We will open up the following Tuesday December 28th at 10 a.m. Thank you for your understanding and most of all thank you for your business.

Family Train Center will be closed tomorrow, Thanksgiving Day. We do hope that you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving with whatever your plans are. We will reopen Friday as usual, 10-4.

CHECK THESE OUT! If you are looking for stocking stuffers, we have a large selection of Mattel Hot Wheels. Showing in these pictures are brand new, never been out of the package assorted vehicles. $2/each. We also have a large selection of preowned, but still in great condition Hot Wheels for just 50 cents/each. Last, we have these little metal signs with wooden legs will look great on an 0 or O27 layout. They are in perfect condition, $4/each. Stop in and pick out your favorites. Friday and Saturday, 10-4, Closed Sunday/Monday, Tuesday 10-4, Wednesday 10-3, Thursday 10-4.

We know that so many of you who are on our Family Train Center face book page are not local. We also offer shipping on just about any item we sell. Just give us a call at 573-286-7295 and let us know the item you want and we will ship it to you anywhere in the continental United States. You can either give us a debit/credit card over the phone or mail us a personal check, and when it clears the bank we can ship your item. We will add shipping on top of that. It's just that easy! To make sure your package arrives on time here are the USPO mail gurantee delivery cut off dates. December 18th is the last day for First-Class mail, December 19 is the last day for Priority Mail. Keep these dates in mind if you need to purchase something.

Hi friends. As the Christmas season is almost here, I wanted to remind everyone that we also sell gift certificates. You can purchase them in any denomination. If you are in the store you can ask about them, or if you are not local, just call 573-286-7295(Ed) and give him a debit or credit card over the phone. We will mail it to you in a mailing envelope. To all of those who came to support our first Family Train Center Open House Show Case, thank you! It was lots of fun and a great success! Engineer Ron was hard at work repairing trains while club members were busy running the train sets and working on the layout. Club members were also cooking hot dogs and serving lemonade and cookies! Hey friends, coming up this Saturday we have our Lake of the Ozarks Train Club Showcase Day. We will have our layout running with model trains, some classic cars on display in the parking lot, and some great food including hot dogs and hamburgers. We will also have one of our vendors that was originally planned to come to our show be there to sell his stock!! Come out and enjoy a day helping out a local club and local business.
