LOTO Endurance

We did a first run of the proposed race course this morning...we messed up and ran part of it wrong. However, we confirmed what route will work and got a good idea of how things will be organized. The course will be a 6.65 mile loop. Marathon runners will complete 4 loops. Relay runners each do 1 loop. Endurance runners...well you do as much as you want. The good news...this morning's 7 mile run had an elevation change of about 180 feet. The final course will probably co...me in under that. So, for this being a Lake of the Ozarks Race, it's going to be near pancake flat. The vast majority of the course is run on the River Golf Cart paths. There is an initial section (about a mile) that is gravel road. However, the road is generally well packed. Road shoes will work fine for the race. There are beautiful sights to see on the course...but you will be running at night so it doesn't really matter :-) The tentative course map can be accessed at Garmin - https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/31074294 More information to come!
