How many rounds can you do in 10 minutes? Post your score in the comments! (To my friends on my personal page, I apologize this keeps popping up in your feed. New friends, I mentioned local gym. If you can't connect to our gym, there is a lot of free stuff online) Disclaimer: Before I get an onslaught if comments about being "out" while on lockdown, 1) I asked for permission 2) They know me, I'm a regular, I just live down the road. 3) There were no other people there, I was... in and out by 7:00 in the morning 4) It really is OK, I'll post the official notice in the comments Disclaimer #2: I am a very imperfect person to be doing fitness stuff. I cringe at how out of shape I am. But hey, I'm putting myself out there. I'll feel a whole lot less ridiculous if you play along. Stay safe everyo

WACKY CAKE (easy, fun to make with kids) During WWll, rationing made eggs and milk scarce. This cake requires no milk, egg or butter. It doesn't even need a mixing bowl. You just mix it up right in the pan! It also is DELICIOUS. It comes out as a spongy brownie like cake that you can ice...or not. You will need: 1 cup of sugar... 3 tablespoons dry cocoa 1 1/2 cup of flour 1 teaspoon baking soda pinch of salt then: 6 tablespoons salad oil 1 tablespoon vinegar 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 cup of cold water In an 8x8 baking pain, stir all of the dry ingredients directly in the pan. Mix it well. In the mix of dried ingredients, make 3 separate holes. In one hole, pour the vanilla, in one hole pour the vinegar, and in the last hole, pour the salad oil. Pour cold water all over. Stir with a fork until moistened. Do not over stir. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

There once was a very unimportant bottle, discarded in a careless way. This unimportant bottle fell onto a blanket of unimportant dead leaves. An unimportant critter crossed this unimportant way. The critter had some unimportant seeds that dropped in an unnoticed way. A wind unnoticed by important people blew. It rocked the bottle and blew the seeds. It blew the dirt when it blew the seeds. An insignificant insect sought shelter from the wind, and stirred the dirt, the lea...ves, and the seeds in this unimportant bottle. Time passed. And one day, an unmemorable human was walking that way and found a glorious treasure in that perfect bottle. There was beautiful life in this discarded gem. Perhaps this bottle wasn't so unimportant when placed where it was meant to be. ________________________ "Indeed, the very hairs on your head are numbered. Watching the Coronavirus: so you don’t have to Posted on March 17, 2020 by lorileaj Quick Glance: what you need to know... * If you get coronavirus, the odds are in your favor that you are going to be OK * You have to meet criteria to be tested *Fatalities in the US are at this time low *At this time, there is not a critical shortage for ICU beds for patients with coronavirus that are in respiratory distress requiring a ventilator to breath *The purpose of social isolation precautions (school closings, canceling of sports events) is to remove the link in the chain of infection to prevent vulnerable populations from getting sick and dying *There is not cure of coronavirus; just like all viruses, there is no cure; antibiotics don’t cure viruses antibiotics are only effective in treating bacterial infections *How do people die from coronavirus? They get severe pneumonia in both sides of their lungs and they can’t breath Disclaimer: I represent myself and not any entity that I may have an affiliation Tipping the hat to Weather Bob Clubbs who is watching the weather so you don’t have to.
