Everybody has that one friend who just HAS to make a funny face when you try to take their picture! This is Mia, one of the horses from the trailer wreck, who is now available for adoption. You can help Mia and the other animals at Longmeadow Rescue Ranch by giving a gift through our Amazon Wish List: https://www.amazon.com//w/ls/3UUUXN82L6G9T/ref=cm_go_nav_h

#TransformationTuesday Cherry, a 12-year-old Shetland, came to Longmeadow Rescue Ranch in poor condition with hooves so long they were beginning to curl. Due to the pain of these unkept hooves, Cherry just wanted to lay down. Thankfully, our dedicated farrier was able to start treating her quickly. After a few days, the muscles across her body visibly started to relax and her frequent rests became a thing of the past. Before we knew it, Cherry's true personality began to shin...e! When she was ready to be turned out with the rest of our mini crew, she had no problem making friends. We are thrilled with her rehabilitation thus far. Although her feet still have a long way to go and will require a certified farrier to continue her corrective trimming, we think Cherry will be a great friend to anyone looking for a little pony with a big personality. This classic big, bodied gelding is an amateur's makeover dream! He shows three high quality gaits and moves up and out tastefully when asked. Standing at 15.2h, Math is tall enough to take up the leg of many sizes of rider, and stout enough to feel quite sturdy and solid without being heavy. He is a light-in-the-hand ride, who loves his stretchy trot. While still green in his restarting off the track, Math has a wonderful disposition under saddle and responds willingly to co...nfident, correct aids. While this spectacular gelding has not yet been started over fences, he shows great potential to be a perfect partner for an amateur looking to finish their own, or an advanced youth with a trainer. With such a willing attitude and easy-going work ethic, he seems to be a perfect gentleman at the age of 5. Mathematician's great attitude and disposition matches on the ground as he stands confidently for the farrier, vet, and staff members. This young man has such a bright future we hope to follow on the show circuit! Give us a call at (636) 583-8759 for more info! See more
