Good Morning Disciples! I'm glad you guys are here. I have a little message for you all today. And... I'd also like to take the opportunity to welcome new Disci...ples to Disciple Ministries. Because we have quite a few new members I'd like to take a quick moment to explain why we call ourselves Disciples. A Disciple is a student. And because we are all students of Christ... if we have a desire to be Christian. We are Disciples if we want to be Christ-like. In this day and age when drug use is at it's worse, and steadily rising, and while our own Government seems to be worried more about the left side or the right side than the people it was established to govern and the majority of those people waiting to pounce on the next person who offends them in some way instead of trying to come to an understanding or an agreement. It is becoming ever more important for good Christian people to stand up and be their brothers keepers. Listen... this is important. If you are already a Christian and secure in your faith then you are ready to get "beat with scripture." But if you're are going out and seeking the lost to bring them in, using the same method of "bible beating" will push those "lost children" away. We need to bring them into the fold by being examples of love and kindness. So that they can be prepapred and made ready to get the "bible beating" that they need. Hear what I'm saying... I'm using the word "beat" because too many times we as Christians (meaning well and having good intentions) cram so much Scripture down the throat of someone we're trying to reach and bring to Jesus that we forget... patience. Go out and be your brothers keeper! If you don't feel comfortable with saying, "Hey I got a question, Are you a Christian?" If you're uncomfortable with that, then say this instead, "Hey I joined this awesome group on Facebook called Disciple Ministries you should come check it out." Either way, the goal always is to find the "lost children" and bring them to know Jesus. You have the most precious thing in the world. You have a relationship with GOD. And you are not supposed to keep it to yourself. You are SUPPOSED TO SHARE IT WITH OTHERS!!! Be your bother's keepers! The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord When I lay my vengeance upon thee. We are personal and interactive and you will find a legitimate and unconditional AGAPE love here amongst your fellow Disciples. Good afternoon Disciples. As we go through our day today, keep this thought in the front of your mind. There will be those that you come in contact with that do... not know Jesus. Be a witness! Jesus IS the bread of Life. And you WILL be blessed if you SHARE your bread with someone less fortunate. And how unfortunate indeed to not know Jesus! If you feel awkward about talking to others about Jesus. Then send them here to click on Disciple Ministries. Either myself or Mariah Moore, Alexsis Tihanyi, Katie Dotson, or Jordan Nicole Young will be more than happy to talk to them.
