Long Branch Dental Group 01.12.2020

We want to update our patients and let them know the ADA has extended the recommendation of only seeing Urgent and Emergency Dental Care Only. The Missouri Dental Association is backing this recommendation. Long Branch Dental Group wants to make sure we are doing our part to slow the spread of this virus and will continue following the guidelines they have put forth. The safety of our patients, staff, and community is our priority and why we are following the list of guidelin...es they have given us. We know these times are scary and not ideal and we appreciate your understanding and patience. Our La Plata and Moberly offices are closed to patient care at this time but Lisa and Laura are there 8am-12pm Monday-Thursday to answer any questions you may have. If you normally go to one of those offices still call them and they will help get you scheduled at the Macon office. Our Macon office is seeing patients by appointment only. Someone will be answering the phone in Macon 8am-12pm Monday- Thursday. We will not have set patient care hours at this time it will depend on the number of patients in need of Emergency Care. Stay Safe and Keep Smiling!

COVID-19 Long Branch Dental group will be making some changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic. These changes will be effective 3/19/20 until further notice. State... and County Health Departments, the American Dental Association, and the Missouri Dental Association, have all recommended that dentists postpone elective treatment currently. Therefore, we will be postponing elective dental procedures, which include: Orthodontics, hygiene and Periodontal Maintenance appointments. We will remain open and available for treatment of dental emergencies. This will help alleviate the burden that dental emergencies could place on hospital emergency rooms. Examples of dental emergencies are: Infection, caries or fracture of a tooth with pain, trauma, or clipping an orthodontic wire which is piercing or ulcerating the oral mucosa. We will call each of our scheduled patients to inform them of these changes. If you have a dental emergency, please call our office to schedule an appointment. We will be providing treatment and/or medications as indicated to make our patients comfortable until definitive treatment can be completed. Our hours of operation will be limited, but a staff member will be on site in all locations from 8:00 to 12:00 Monday through Friday. A doctor will also be on call to provide critical services. If no one is here to answer your call, leave a message on the voicemail and your concerns will be addressed within the next business day. Be assured, our staff is trained in universal precautions and follow strict infection control protocols. As always, your safety and health are of the utmost importance to us. Thank you for your understanding and full support during this time. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel to call any of our offices at: Macon office 660-385-3413 La Plata office 660-332-4969 Moberly office 660-263-8181
