In case you missed it, here is Pat's letter for August: I can hardly believe it is August already! When we were first told this virus could last as long as July I was flabbergasted. Now here we are and still no sign of it going. Thankfully , The London Tea Merchant is still enjoying business thanks to all of you who continue to support and encourage us. I’m sure you want to hear how we are doing and what our plans are for going forward, so here goes. Our afternoon teas are d...oing well even though we are still at 50% capacity. They are just as good as they have always been, and we have had such positive feedback. A very traditional English Afternoon Tea is a wonderful way to celebrate special friendships and the perfect thank you to a family member or friend who has been kind to you in the past. You can request a reservation through our website. We also continue to offer Afternoon Tea @ Home for pickup or delivery, a service which has been especially appealing during these times. For lovers of our Chicken Waldorf Sandwich, we now have the vegetarian version which many of you have asked us for. Chickpeas beans replace the chicken and we call it the Garden Waldorf Sandwich. It is really delicious! You can order it at the register when you come into the café, or place an online order for pick up. I can tell you that this sandwich is a definite hit with all our customers - not just vegetarians! The Laura Ashley shipment arrived on schedule and we have been busy filling orders which have been going out all over the country. We have a good supply of cups and saucers, plates and bowls, and we still have a limited amount of the much loved teapot so don’t delay! Take a look at the gorgeous Blueprint Collectable range. What is ahead? Our own brand candle line called London Lights which will include tea scented candles and wax melts available only through The London Tea Merchant.
