Improving Lives with Janssen The St. Louis-Kansas City Carpenters Regional Council continues to support member health by providing COVID-19 vaccines. After mon...ths of weekly applications to the state, Carpenters Wellness Center was granted 500 doses of the Johnson & Johnson one-dose vaccine, known as Janssen, from the State of Missouri on April 1 that were used to vaccinate our most vulnerable membership and their spouses in St. Louis and surrounding areas. This comes only two weeks after an event in which more than 500 members and spouses were provided the first dose of the Moderna vaccine. "Nothing is more important than our members being safe and healthy, and providing these vaccines is one more step toward ensuring that," said Al Bond, Executive Secretary-Treasurer. "It makes me proud that we can offer this to our hard-working brothers and sisters and their spouses and take this step toward keeping us all healthy and restoring a sense of normalcy to the world." Carpenters Wellness Center is not guaranteed to receive another allotment from the state. However, if you are in the St. Louis area or are willing to travel to the St. Louis area and are interested in receiving a COVID-19 vaccination, please visit our website to pre-register.
