Hey guys here’s another one of our intern highlights! This is Pradyot (he goes by prad), He’s a PhD student now at George mason university but he was a intern for 2 summers and was also on staff here at living waters! Interning at Living Waters is more than a job it is being part of a larger family that includes the staff volunteers and interns along with the guests we have. I’d describe the internship as joyfully humbling! Nothing beats spending quality time in the water i...n midst of nature while serving our guests and building relationships. My memories of the program involves amazing friendships and a constant process of learning and growing that I will always cherish. Ok guys so we wanted to highlight some interns from years past and give you a feel for the summer internship here at living waters! This is Elijah! He was an intern for 2 years in 2016 & 2017 At a moment in my life where I had just quit my job working as cook full time and dropped out of culinary school, I was looking for a new job. But more than that, I was looking for a new adventure. Something different. My parents reached out to me and told me living waters was doing a... summer internship. The timing could not have been more perfect. That summer I can honestly say was one of the best summers of my life. I grew so much as a person. Between the community of people I had through the internship and the time alone on the water and during devotionals, it gave me a sense of belonging and joy that I hadn’t felt in a while. Rescuing boats and helping campers became something I looked forward to, it was a place I felt needed.
