We cannot be changed by what we never encounter. Many Catholics serve the least of these through fundraisers for women’s care centers, donating diapers or dropping off meals at homeless sheltersefforts that seek to change things for others without necessarily changing ourselves. The result can be a kind of Christian duty that is sincere but non-transformative.

THE VIGIL CONTINUES! People of Faith Standing for Racial Justice are still standing! We are now gathering First Fridays, from 5-6pm. Feel free to come and bring your family for all or just part of that time. January’s date will be January 8th(due to New Year’s holiday). We are developing a Rapid Response Communication List to notify people of an ad hoc Vigil in the event of an tragic incident requiring a prayerful and public witness.
