The piglets have arrived!! We had an exciting evening yesterday, and Momma Charlotte is proving to be the best mom! Eight sweet little ones, all doing very well. They arrived on our youngest daughter’s birthday, so in her honor we’ve named the little dark one that we’ve already decided to keep - Emma. She also happens to be the most cuddly of the litter.

We’re so excited that Ammy Welker is helping us this year with all of the new things we’re adding - including LOTS more flowers!!

We need help! Looking to hire one person for some weekdays and one weekend per month (average 20 hours per week, the one weekend mandatory for both Saturday and Sunday) and couple of people for help once a month for our weekend events. Must have reliable transportation. Pay range $10-12 per hour depending on experience. Some physical work required - lots of weed pulling, planting and tending plants, harvesting, some animal care, & customer interaction.... How to get to our farm? We’re so sorry for all of the confusion around this issue this year! The EASIEST way to find us is to go west on 72 from the 67 overpass at Fredericktown, 1/8th of a mile from the overpass Madison 504 turns to the left, we have a sign there and a sign at each additional turn all the way to our driveway. We’re less than 5 miles from Fredericktown. If you ever have any issue finding us, please call 573-561-3163. In a nutshell, the ONLY map app that is c...orrect in routing you to our address is Google maps. However, many people think they’re using Google maps when they’re actually using a different map system. The directions tab on our Facebook page will take you to the correct address only if you’re on an Android phone - Apple Maps on an iPhone will take you to the wrong place! It seems like I’ve spent about as much time emailing Apple, Facebook, and Google this year as I have growing flowers - and it still isn’t fixed. If anyone has suggestions to help us address this, please pm/dm us!

Meet Finn, Mr. Whitener’s new best friend. She’s a Toy Australian Shepherd, and already a perfect addition as she adores people - especially kids. And if you’re ever in need of a puppy sitter, Charlotte Ann is the best there is! The planting of hundreds of peonies would have went a lot slower without her help.

The bulbs are here!! (So are the peonies, look for them on a separate post.) Gorgeous bulb varieties, ready to plant now! Some for indoor bloom, some for spring bloom. Prices and varieties are on each photo, comment with varieties and quantities you want and how you’d like to pay and pick up. We ship as well! Planting instructions & Bloom time: All paperwhite varieties - plant now INSIDE, either in pots with soil, or in containers with rocks and water - keeping the top of the bulb above the soil or water level. Keep inside in sunny spot. Will bloom 3-8 weeks after planting. The Erlicheer varieties are VERY fragrant! These are both much quicker to bloom varieties than we had last year. Other Daffodil varieties - plant now outside, 4-6 deep and 3 or more apart. Will bloom in early spring. Alliums - plant now outside, 4-6 deep and 6-8 apart. Will bloom mid to late spring. Dutch Iris - plant now outside, 4-5 deep and 3 or more apart. Will bloom mid to late spring.
