Little Hills Youth Archery

As shared in email to all of our returning members and wait list, we have decided to cancel our Fall 2020 season. We will revisit plans for the Winter season in late Fall and keep everyone informed. At this time, we expect a potential delay to the Winter season by a few weeks. For our wait list, we will once again attempt an Explore Archery program in early Spring. As an alternative, we encourage everyone to visit the local ranges throughout our region. In addition to indoor open shoot (with restrictions) at St. Louis Bow Hunters, our friends at Town Hall in Belleville or Summit Archery in Gray Summit check out 370 Lakeside Park, Forest Park, Creve Coeur, Buder, and JB, Busch Conservation Area, or Koch Park in Florissant.

We hope everyone is staying safe through this unprecedented time. While we regret having to cancel spring and summer activities, we are anxiously looking forward to returning this fall. The fall season will require some adjustments and may change as the situation evolves. To prepare, we will be sending a survey in the coming weeks to our returning members and everyone on our waiting list for perspective on proposals to address keeping our community safe. We will post key results here. Based on your feedback, we will begin registrations in mid to late July.

Spring Explore Archery Clinic is POSTPONED Spring/Summer Outdoor JOAD is DELAYED As we have been working through the extra health precautions this week to address the concerns of the coronavirus outbreak, Little Hills Youth Archery leadership have been monitoring the public health advisories closely. While we understand our kids are generally at lower risk from Covid-19, we feel it is important to do our part to reduce community spread.... One of the greatest qualities of our program is how our community covers an unusually wide portion of the region. From St. Louis to Fenton, through Ballwin and out to Troy, our community reach is quite large. Bringing people together who normally would not have the opportunity makes me proud. However, in this case, with social distancing concerns in mind, it is also a risk. I will be issuing refunds later this morning to everyone who has registered for our spring clinic. We will also delay the start of our outdoor program originally scheduled to begin in early April. We will do everything possible to reschedule based on advisory from our public health officials. Please, everyone stay safe this spring and help us all do our part in minimizing the impact of this moment.

This is the last week of winter session. Wait List: A spring shoot for waiting list only archers is coming soon. So if you are on that list and do not get an email this weekend, please message us. Fall/Winter Sessions: Registrations will open in June/July.
