Middle Grade Book Love. I’ve enjoyed Middle Grade March so much that I’m planning to keep going. I’ve joined a Middle Grade Readers Book Club and also buddy read with my 11 year old.

I found so many new fun books in the LFL this morning!

When my American Literature professor told me about a book that had some of the best writing she’s ever seen, I immediately purchased it. Then found out the author is from St. Louis! The writing was powerful and left my heart aching. TW: teen suicide

My review of this book has nothing to do with the story and everything to do with wanting to eat chicken tenders the entire time! Thank you @darlareads for buddy reading with me.

It’s a rainy day and the LFL is full. Just added a couple new books and found new donations have been made.

Today I’m writing a paper for my last assignment in an American Literature class I’ve been taking. I’ve read some great things and some not so great (why do I have to read this?) kind of things. Do you remember any required readings that were just not your thing?
