Lion Forge spent a portion of the day prepping baskets full of comic books at Basket of Hope. Basket of Hope's mission is to give hope to children diagnosed with cancer or other serious illness through the delivery of a Basket of Hope filled with toys, games, craft items, stuffed animals, gift cards, and other items. Thanks, Baskets of Hope for letting us volunteer!

This week we are celebrating Jackie Ormes. Jackie Ormes is known as the first African-American woman cartoonist and creator of the Torchy Brown comic strip and the Patty-Jo 'n' Ginger panel. #blackhistorymonth #jackieormes We are pausing to reflect and celebrate our rich and wonderful mosaic of Black History. May we never forget that Black History is American History. We will continue to highlight African Americans and what they have contributed to our nation's story every Friday this month.

Ron Husband is an American character animator known for his work at Walt Disney Feature Animation, where he has worked since 1975.
