Hello, Lion Care families! This is just a reminder that if school is cancelled because of inclement weather, Lion Care will not be offered. Also, for those who already paid for this evening, you will be credited upon our return. Thank you!

Do you have a child care plan in place for inclement weather? Here is what happens to Lion Care in the event of inclement weather: 1. If school closes early and... students attend only a half day, Lion Care will be closed in the afternoon. Families should have a plan in place with the office to make sure students know where to go in case this happens. 2. If the Northwest District is closed for either a snow day or an AMI day, Lion Care will be closed as well. Please note that Lion Care does not make phone calls to parents in the event of these closures, so please make sure you are receiving proper notifications from the district. 3. There are rare cases that students may finish out the school day, but the weather in the afternoon or early evening causes Lion Care to close early. Lion Care will notify parents via phone call if this happens, with an anticipated closing time. If you receive no notification, Lion Care will operate as usual. In the event Lion Care is closed due to inclement weather, families will be credited back days or shifts missed that they have prepaid for. If you have questions or concerns, please speak with the Lion Care staff at your child's school.
