That third set BURNED! Getting it done on back and bi's day!!

One of my favorite parts about being a trainer is accomplishing new feets with my clients and hitting their goals! A week ago Miles asked me if we could find a way for him to bench press, though not with the bar, we came up with a way to hit those same muscles with the dumbbell chest press and then gave some flies a try as well! Accomplishing these things were not only exciting for him but exciting for me as a trainer and tonight he let me record it to share in his accomplishments!! This is Miles hitting chest press and dumbbell flies! I'm honestly so impressed by his hard work and determination in the gym! He's been awesome to work with! No excuses!

A few weeks back I got in a car accident that really messed up my back and neck. Today was the first time back on the squat rack in almost a month! I wanted to be joining the 300 club by the end of September but the accident has set me back quite a bit. I did 3 sets on the squat rack today to see what my body could handle, 95lb for 20. 115lb for 17. And 135 for 8. Becky recorded my final set so I could watch my form and make sure I wasn't compensating or doing too much weight before my body was ready for it again. It was not too shabby and will probably be my first set of weights off the rack next time, and go up by 20 each time again next time! I'm positive if I start with this I can hit way more than just 8!
