Take A Moment To Thank A Veteran When you see someone in a uniform, Someone who serves us all, Doing military duty,... Answering their country’s call, Take a moment to thank them For protecting what you hold dear; Tell them you are proud of them; Make it very clear. Just tap them on the shoulder, Give a smile, and say, "Thanks for what you’re doing To keep us safe in the USA!" By Joanna Fuchs

**NEEDED** Reliable Regular & Substitute Meal-Delivery Driver Volunteers * Availability between 9a-1p, Monday thru Friday. * Valid Drivers License * Proof of Vehicle Insurance ... * Once a week, once a month, or on-call availability welcome <3 More Than Meals <3 Delivery volunteers also provide a valuable confirmation that our recipients are safe that day. Smile! Because when a LCCOA volunteer knocks on the door, our community's most vulnerable & high-risk seniors and disabled individuals open. It is an honor and privilege Your visit also serves as the first line of defense for many. This can mean the difference between independent living at home, or an unwelcome transfer to a costly long-term care facility. If you are interested in helping carry out the work of Lincoln County Council on Aging by fighting food-insecurity and social-isolation in Lincoln County, Missouri, please call 636-528-7000. ((Please Note: Volunteers are welcome to drive their own vehicle, or one of our fleet vehicles. LCCOA driver volunteers do not receive any direct reimbursement for the use of their personal autos, but all miles driven in connection with their volunteer service are entirely tax-deductible on their personal tax returns.))

We're very grateful for the support we receive from Sugar Grove Growers <3 Alana & Bob always step-up to contribute to our fundraisers, and donate large quantities of produce - that way we're able to use them for meals! Just yesterday SGG gave LCCOA 16 cases of fresh apples!! These will be used today for our home-delivered & congregate meals, including weekend meals for LincCo's homebound. Each apple signifies a neighbor who will have more to eat - thanks to @sugargrovegrowers

How do we even begin to thank Weinand Younger Tire Inc !?! They work hard to keep our fleet of vehicles rolling across ALL 642 sq. miles of Lincoln County, Missouri, Monday through Friday. Often providing LCCOA's vehicles service or repairs at little, and sometimes no cost! Without local support, LCCOA would not be able to serve the community for the past 42 years. Thank you so much to Paul & the team at Weinand Younger!

@toyota4good & Toyota TMMMO at Toyota Bodine Aluminum Inc have made a true impact in our community! During this unprecedented year, Toyota stepped-up to ensure LCCOA was able to continue providing hot, nutritious meals. Toyota's efforts included incredible monetary support, and went above & beyond by engaging team members to volunteer - so our meal delivery didn't skip a beat - Thank You!!! https://www.toyota.com/usa/community/index.html

A testimony LCCOA received today.... "To LCCOA; My husband and I would like to thank everyone involved with the Blessing you provided us with today. When our Meal delivery Lady brought our meals today she had extra boxes of food for us. From the bottom of our hearts we say Thank You!!! You see we were down to almost nothing to eat. No potatoes, no vegetables, no canned food. We opened our boxes & I just cried and said Thank You Lord for this blessing and the people @ LCCOA.... We just wanted to let you know how much we appreciate everyone involved that makes it possible for us to receive our daily meals. The food is so delicious and we so appreciate it. We just LOVE our delivery driver. She is so kind and caring. We can see her smile through her mask. We are Very Thankful for her. Once again, THANK YOU LCCOA & EVERYONE INVOLVED with our lifeline. WE SO APPRECIATE IT." ^^^ THIS is why we do what we do ^^^
