Mr. Bones is here again....this time to teach you how to properly wash your hands! WET your hands with clean, running water (warm or cold), turn off the tap and apply soap. LATHER your hands (including the backs of your hands, between your fingers and under your nails) by rubbing them together with the soap. SCRUB your hands for at least 20 seconds.... RINSE your hands well under clean, running water. DRY your hands using a clean towel or air dry them. See more

Lincoln County Ambulance District recognized three of our Paramedics for their actions in rescuing a potential jumper from the Cherry Street bridge over Highway 61 in Troy on January 27. We would like to take this opportunity to share the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. If you or someone you know may be feeling Suicidal, there is help available! Mr. Bones has been suffering from a broken heart, but luckily for him the Ladies of LCAD were there to come rescue him. HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
Thank you American Heritage Girls for the awesome cookies. They give us a great boost of energy on those early morning calls!
Base 5 is one of our most remote bases, serving the northwest corner of our county. Our partnership with Air Methods ARCH 9 proved beneficial again today as we flew out a patient. Along with our partners in Lincoln County 911, Eolia Fire Protection District and Lincoln County Sheriff's Dept. We are doing our small part to give every patient their best chance at surviving trauma and illness.
First scene flight for ARCH 9 out of LCAD base 5. Paramedics Lori, Leslie and BC Claudette called for assistance this morning for a roll over motor vehicle crash. Thank you also to our partners at central 911 dispatch, lincoln county fire #1, Lincoln county Sheriff's Dept and State Hwy Patrol. Coming together to save lives.

Photos from a Motor Vehicle Accident on October 10th. Great work by both the Lincoln County Fire Protection District as well as the Wright City Fire Protection District who were able to safely extricate the occupant. Patient was stabilized by LCAD and transported to a St. Louis area Hospital by Arch Air Medical for treatment. #VehicleRescue
