Lincoln Street Gifts and Quilts

I hope the first few days of this new year have been going great for each of you. :) I want to take a few minutes to tell each of you how much I appreciate how you have stayed with me over the last 3 years. Can you believe it? Three years ago I opened Lincoln Street Gifts & Quilts. For the past few weeks, I have been doing a little deep cleaning at home and hope to get more done in the next few weeks. I will be at the shop off and on during the next 6 weeks or so, so ...if you see the "Open" lignt on, feel free to come on in. If you would like to see what is available and the light is not on or my car is not in front, feel free to call me at 573-854-1534, and we can set a time to meet there. I am planning classes for the latter part of February and into March for both daytime and evening. I am limiting the enrollment to 4 per class until we know better what COVID is doing. If there is something you are interested in, please coment below or private message me and I will get back with you. Currently I am planning a binding class, a rag quilt class, and a beginning sewing class. There will also be a quilt block class, but I haven't chosen the block yet. We have lots and lots of ornaments in the shop this week. As always, our bottle and grinch ornaments are popular. We also have a few gnome and St. Louis Cardinals ornaments. Come on by and check them out. Wednesday through Saturday 10:30 - 4 this week and next week. We will be open on We the 23rd from 10:30 - 2 and closed Christmas Eve. Hope to see you soon.

No live today, but I wanted to let everyone know about our Christmas hours. We will be open Black Friday and Shop Small Saturday and Wednesday through Saturday from 10:30 till 4 through December 19th. We will be participating in Desloge Chamber of Commerce Shop Small, Shop Local Business. Get your cards at participating shops (listed on the Chamber's website) to have a chance to win up to $100! I also wanted to share our new gnome ornament and a few gift ideas. Have a great Thanksgiving and hope to see you this weekend.

COVID or not, Fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas will soon be upon us. I'm getting ready for all four.

I am loving this cooler weather. I don't know if Spring or Fall is my favorite season. They may tie for it. :) We have a few new items in the shop this week. We have masks, including a few STL Cardinals masks, kids masks, and lanyards for the masks. We also have a few new Halloween items. Well, it has happened. I have been exposed to someone who tested positive. So far, I haven't had any symptoms, which is a good thing. :) The health department has suggested self quarentine through Friday, September 11th, so the shop will be closed all this week. Stay safe and have a great Labor Day.

Masks are now available here at Lincoln Street Gifts and Quilts. Adults are $8 each and children's are $5 each. Come on by and see the other great gifts that may be just what you have been looking for. Is there a craft you want to learn to do? Let Becky know and she will work on getting a class for it. Sewing and quilting classes will begin again soon.

Our Friday Coozies class is full. We will be offering it again in a few weeks. Keep an eye out if you are interested in taking it.

I have one definite and 2 maybes for Wednesday's Rag Quilt class. If you are interested, please contact me for supplies needed. Also, I have 1 opening left if you want to take the class. It is a fun class and has many different applications. Also, Friday we will be making reversable Microwave Cozies. I have 1 person signed up so there are 3 openings. Materials will be included in the class for a total of $30. Classes are $20 plus materials. Next month I will be teac...hing a class on basic clothing construction so if you are interested, please contact me for more information. Also, we have washable masks available for $8 each. We have a variety of designs and colors. Our new hours at Lincoln Street Gifts & Quilts, 202 N. Lincoln, Desloge, are Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 10am - 3pm.
