Volunteers are still needed to help shop for gifts for 190 families through the Liberty Community Christmas Tree Program through City of Liberty, Mo. Government. Those interested can attend a shopper meeting to select a family: Two more meetings will be held at 6 p.m., Dec. 2 and 3 at Heritage Hall, 117 W. Kansas St. OR you can stop by the Liberty Community Center, 1600 S. Withers Rd. between 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Dec. 2 or 3.... Details will be discussed at the meeting, volunteers will be given $50.00 per child to shop for gifts and then volunteers will bring gifts to Heritage Hall to pick up the boxes of canned goods collected for the family adopted on Saturday, Dec. 12. Volunteers will then take the gifts and food to the family's home wishing them Happy Holidays. View more information in the photos attached to this post!
