Attention Parents who have kids that walk home from school in Lexington. I have one at LMS and one at LBS. I will be happy to pick up kids and take them home a...fter school to avoid walking in the cold. Yesterday there were several I wanted to stop and see if they needed a ride but was worried they might not know me and i didn't want to scare anyone. A few changes for December: Food pantry will be open Friday the 10th, 17th and 31st from 9am-11am. We will be closed December 24th. If you or someone you know... is in need of help with a Christmas meal, come and see us on those dates. The pantry is stocked with hams and all the fixings for a nice Christmas meal. Additionally, Commodities will be distributed for the month of December on Tuesday the 21st from 8:30am-11:30am at the United Methodist Church.

The kids and I had a blast tonight!! I got some horse therapy before this school week starts again and my daughter got to ride a horse for the first time! As you can tell by these pictures she had a blast!! I couldn’t get her off! Thank you Sherilyn Braden for inviting us!!

Visitation and Funeral Service for Nana Aldonna Burnett will both be Thursday, October 14th. Visitation 430-630pm and funeral following from 630-7pm at the Fune...ral Home. The family chose to make Memorials to Discovery Room Preschool which Nana would have LOVED!!! I am crying like a baby!! What a wonderful tribute to someone who loved working with our preschoolers!! She WAS and ALWAYS will be a ROCK STAR NANA!!!!!!!! I have not wrapped my head around it yet and am dreading going back to preschool Tuesday with the absence that will be there. Please continue to pray for all of us that Nana has touched so dearly!!! She will be missed beyond words!!

Octobetfest Scavenger Hunt in downtown Lexingtpn today!!! Wish we could have stayed longer!!! Go have fun!!!

Octobetfest and WMA Alumni Homecoming going on in uptown Lexington!! Lots of AMAZING BBQ on 10th Street, music, venders, mums, pumpkin decorating on 12th street... and Main Street Park and Art & Photography Show at the LEX!!!! You can also get your Scavenger Hunt papers there!! Pictures of the little bit of scavenger hunt we were able to do before we had to leave for a football game in Sweet Springs! Re-enactments going on periodically throughout the day as well!!! Go up and ENJOY!!! See more

*****Change of Location****** Commodities Program distribution on the 4th Thursday of the month has been moved from Save A Lot parking lot to the United Methodi...st Church located at 1211 S Business Hwy 13. The hours will remain the same 8:30am-11:30am. If you receive a 60+ box you will still need to drop by the Food Pantry during these hours to receive your box. This change of location will be effective January and continue going forward. See more
