Deborah Zemke participated in the Lewis Library Literacy Fair last Spring. She invites us to visit her page for FREE educational materials. Just what we need anytime, but especially while schools are closed. Hello! I've posted activity sheets on my website that are based on my doodle, chapter, and picture books, and the 101 Ranger Rick cartoons that I've done over the years. These are free to download and share with friends. Look for the first batch at:... https://www.deborahzemke.com/deborahzemke/fun-stuff.html

The Board of Directors has decided to close the doors to Lewis Library until the end of March, at which time we will re-evaluate the COVID-19 situation. Feel free to drop off books in the mailbox outside of the library entrance. An excellent alternative to checking out a book is to download a book through Libraries2Go. In order to access Libraries2Go, you must be a patron of the Library and receive a PIN from a Librarian. While the library is closed, please call Rosetta at 660.338.2516 or email Rosetta at [email protected] and we will provide you access to the online library. Thanks for your understanding and patience.

Today we donated some carpet cleaning to the Lewis Library out in Glasgow Missouri. We are donating the cleaning on behalf of my grandfather Richard Lewis who is related to the library’s founder Benjamin Lewis. It is a very interesting place and full of history. Let us show you around!
