I need to do one more for the fact I didn’t complete the 25 days as intended. Just honestly had so much stuff come in the way that I failed to do them all, so I apologize. For the ones I did here are the winners I had not announced yet: 1) free conditioning treatment and brow wax @alexis_huebener47 2) big package giveaway @sbknaggs (message me we need to arrange times for your shoot and makeup!) 3)$25 gift certificate @myriadofmaddie 4)conditioning treatment and blowout wit...h @abbeyf_artistry @heymakay24 Congratulations! Thank you for playing! Again I am so sorry for the inconsistency in this attempt lol I will be posting one final give away to end the year with a BANG! Stay tuned!!

Moment of Vulnerability. First off, I’m going to start by saying I have no idea that this necessarily is professional making this post, but I feel like it’s needed (at least for me). These last few weeks have been difficult. I’ve had a lot of lessons learned, some eye opening moments (good and bad), and some realizations for some changes to be made. I love the holidays but to be honest, I’m over them this year. I really wanted to do the 25 days giveaway and have barely been a...ble to keep up (more to come on that subject). I wanted to do client favors and never got the chance. Covid hit my family 2 weeks before Christmas. Which means I had a week and a half to make up 2.5 weeks of a fully booked schedule including overtime. I have struggled a lot with structure, organization, and life/work management. And I want to change that. I try to be a very open and upfront person both in my personal and work life. That’s why I’m making this post. So often I feel people forget stylists are human too. We aren’t perfect and we are only capable of being able to do so much. Our jobs are so much more than doing hair. And don’t get me wrong I love it, I wouldn’t trade it, but I’m still learning how to run a business, be a mom, be a fiancé, balance work and home life, plan a wedding, please my friends and clients, etc... the amount of things having to be balanced is more than meets the eye. I wasn’t able to do some things that are important to me as far as getting people in, doing all 25 days, client favors, being home enough with my son, heck I haven’t even finished Christmas shopping. But all of these things stem from lack of structure and balance in my life. I realized how badly I need a change. I’m saying all of this because many of us in this industry really struggle with these things. Some more than others. Please be patient with us and know we are trying. Please know I’m making changes but I’m still human and im still learning and I still struggle. Thank you to those who are always understanding and patient, I couldnt do it without you. That support means more to me than you know. Just know I’m trying, all of us stylists are. Posts with updates(&giveaway info) coming soon. See more
