Taking advantage of this beautiful weather to get the new deck built. The project has slowed some because of lost windows( loooong story!) but we've been promised delivery Nov 4. We'll see!!At least the roof is on so things are dry. #quarantineremodel #newdwck!

What we hope will become an annual tradition- Halloween bonfire!! We topped the evening off by the burning of the chair. Amazing how fast the fire whipped thru it. It was 27 minutes from when we placed it on the coals to when the chair collapsed. Truely a lesson in fire science. We'll be hunting for the next chair sacrifice for next years bonfire. #quarantinebonfires #DotteFarm

It's been awhile since I been on IG- just needed a break. We've been busy, the roof is now on the addition and the barn. I love the blue, eventually all the buildings will have blue metal roofs!! The garden has been put to bed just in time for the freeze next week. Fall is my favorite time of the year but my empty garden beds make me bittersweet. #DotteFarm #fallisintheair #quarantineremodel

The party is over, now I have 35 pounds of green tomatoes! I know many of them will ripen in the house but there's gonna be alot that don't. Does anyone have a great green tomato recipe besides Fried Green Tomatoes??
