Veterans Day Updates- Parade is cancelled SG Public Schools Nov. 5, 2020 We are incredibly saddened to announce that the Veterans Day Parade that was scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 10, will be cancelled. While we are sorry to be unable to host this parade for our local veterans, this decision was made in the best interest of all, particularly this group of beloved individuals. Our schools would like to thank our local veterans for their service, and our... student groups plan to offer a drive-through pick-up for our veterans on Tuesday instead. A sack lunch will be provided to veterans and their spouses through a drive-through pick-up at the American Legion Hall between 11 a.m. 1 p.m., on Tuesday, Nov. 10. The sack lunch will include a deli sandwich, Oberle Meats, chips, cookies, veggies, and bottled water.
