Looking for a New Year’s Resolution you should keep? Make sure you are staying hydrated, preferably with water and your main source of hydration. There is no science behind the claim that everyone needs to drink 8 8 oz glasses of water a day. Instead, I tell people to check in with 2 areas to decide if they are properly hydrated. ... Start paying attention to if you are thirsty. Drink if you are thirsty. 2. Use the color of your pee as an indicator of your hydration level. Other than the first pee of the morning which is a brighter yellow, your pee should be a pale yellow color. Now, unfortunately, there are certain supplements and vitamins that do alter the color of your pee, so this indicator may not always work.

Your leakage might not be a strength issue at all. It might be a timing issue. You may not be recruiting the muscles at the right time. Many women can do Kegel exercises just fine when they are laying down or sitting still, but when they have to coordinate them with other movements the timing goes out the door.
One thing we commonly hear new moms complain about is pain and sensitivity at their c-section or episiotomy sites. Sometimes scars can be really sensitive to touch and can be very uncomfortable but there are things that we can do desensitize the scar and get them moving better.
