Another beautiful Give Back Day with Habitat for Humanity KC!

Mazuma has had a blast this Give Back Month! Last week, our Team had the chance to visit a variety of places, like Mission Adelante and their thrift store! Where should we visit in the future?

It's #FeelGoodFriday and we couldn't be more excited for our partners at The Regnier Family Wonderscope Children's Museum of Kansas City for the Grand Opening of their new location! In just 1 week, the long awaited new campus will be open to the public. Yesterday, our entire Team had the opportunity to give back and help out around our community. We served lunches, visited shelters, helped our our branches, volunteered at thrift stores, made and distributed masks, and even had a few surprise and delights for community members!

Every year on Columbus Day, Mazuma dedicates the federal holiday to volunteering throughout the Kansas City community. While this year looks a little different, we are still committed to our community efforts and will be closed Monday, October 12th. As always, you will be able to access your account through Online and Mobile Banking as well as our ATM and phone system.

One week into Give Back Month and we aren’t afraid to get our hands dirty! We spent the day at @cultivatekc working hard to prepare the land for next year! Cultivate KC works with local farmers and individuals to educate and provide needed resources to make local farming sustainable and successful. Where will our Team volunteer next? Find out tomorrow!

Our friends at @smoke_n_seoul will be at our Olathe Branch today serving up some amazing Korean meets KC style BBQ from 11:30-1:30 (or until the food runs out!)

Today, we are back at @communitylinc providing over 100 lunches for their residents. The pandemic and resulting economic impact has led to many more Kansas City residents needing housing assistance, and Community Linc works directly with families to provide needed resources.
