So lots of people have asked if I was goin to post my pics from my photo shoot, and I have thoroughly debated it. So fair warning, there are a couple professionally taken and tasteful pictures ahead! But I am pretty proud of myself for FINALLY puttin all my ex's negative talk in my head to rest! I have finally learned to feel good about and truly love myself and how I look, and last weekend, I wasnt afraid to show it off. I'm posting these bc they make ME feel sexy and emp...owered, and I didnt have them taken for ANYONE BUT ME! ( Don't worry, they don't show anything lol) This post is to show everyone out there, that it's not just about hair, skin, or nails. It's not about the clothes you wear or other people's opinions about you. It's about ME! I am 38 and it has taken me 20+ years to feel comfortable and confident in my own skin. Here is my truth: I spent 7 years in an abusive relationship, which did nothing to help my self image, only hinder it. Once I finally broke free of that, I still had a road to self recovery to travel. But I finally, finally reached my journey to my beautification destination, if you will! My new work attire for the time being!

For the month of May, I will be working Thursdays and Fridays. Then starting in June I will only working 2 Saturdays a month during the summer. Those weeks my work schedules will be Thursday through Saturday. The other weeks I will be in the salon Wednesday through Friday. Thank you!!

I wanted to let everyone know that in addition to calling and texting everyone to get their future appointments set up, that I will also be following a new set of regulations handed down by the CDC, BARBICIDE (a disinfectant used by all stylists), and our county/state board so that I can open up and start getting everyone back in to take care of their hair! The following rules will apply: 1) I am only taking appointments at this time, please no walkins. If you would like to s...chedule an appointment, please do so by calling/texting me at 316-737-7391 or booking online through my facebook page, Leesha Coons Colors and Cuts. These 1st 2 weeks, I will not be opening my online booking as to make sure I am able to get everyone in that had a cancelled appointment due to the shutdown. After that, please feel free to book online! 2) Please wait in your car upon arrival to your appointment, as the salon door will be locked. I will call/text you to let you know that I'm ready for you, also please make sure I have a cell number to do so. Please expect some delays between appoinments, as I have to completely sanitize and disinfect my station and shampoo bowl between every client. 3) Please try and keep your children at home during this as we can only have 10 people in the building at all times, including the stylists. If your child has an appointment, please keep to one parent/guardian per child. 4) Masks must be worn at all times, by myself and the client. If you have your own mask, please bring it with you. Please make sure it's the type that goes behind your ears so that I can still work on your hair. If you don't have a mask, a disposable one can be provided to you for your appointment. 5) All clients and myself will be required to wash our hands before starting the service and again once to service is finished. Also hand sanitzer will be provided, and you are encouraged to use it throughout your service! 6) All clients will be asked a series of questions 48 hours prior to (by text) and prior to starting your appointment. The questions are as follows: - Have you had a cough, sore throat, fever, or feel feverish? - Have you had any loss of taste or smell? - Have you been around anyone exhibiting these symptoms within the last 14 days? - Are you currently living with anyone sick or quarantined? 7) I will reserve the right to have an appointment rescheduled if deemed necessary to make sure that everyone stays safe and healthy during this time! I appreciate everyone's patience and understanding during this crazy time! I know everyone is wanting to get in ASAP, and I'm working as fast as I can to accomodate everyone. Please remember, if you feel sick AT ALL, STAY HOME! We all want to make sure everyone stays safe and healthy during all of this craziness! Thank you!
