Arvest Bank kicked off their Million Meals campaign on April 6. They already collected funds for 407,233 meals. This a large campaign across the United States. Locally, the Arvest Nixa branch has partnered with Least Of These, Inc. to raise funds that will provide meals to those in need in Christian County.

Get ready for higher grocery bills for the rest of the year. As a food pantry, we are seeing an increase in food prices as well. More importantly, the families we serve who have very limited resources are unable to purchase the amount of food they need for their families due to the increased food costs. Least Of These, Inc. is excited to announce David Pearson as the part-time Volunteer Coordinator. David is also the lead pastor at The Bridge Church in Nixa. Please help us give David a warm welcome as the newest member of our team.

Least Of These, Inc. offered the COVID Vaccine to Volunteers today. Least Of These, Inc., continues to serve the most vulnerable in our community through contactless drive-through food distribution. With a staff of 4, Least Of These relies heavily upon volunteers to provide food to families facing food insecurity in Christian County. Many of our volunteers are retirees and fall within the high risk category for the COVID -19 virus. Thank you to Alps Pharmacy and Christian County Emergency Management for their help with the clinic today.

Did you know that the Christian County Library has a seed library? You can check out up to five seed packets to plant in your home garden. Available at the Clever, Nixa, and Ozark Community Branch locations.

Thank you to the Southwest Gold Tour for doing a food and fund drive in conjunction with their Footprint Tour. They collected food and monetary donations at their bowling tournament this weekend in Springfield. Thank you for leaving a footprint in our community.

THANK YOU for making an impact on your community. Over $12,000 was raised yesterday for our Personal Care and Hygiene program during the Community Foundation of the Ozarks #GiveOzarks day. This will provide months worth of hygiene and personal care items for families seeking assistance in Christian County. You are a blessing to so many.

Thank you to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for delivering 24 pallets of food to Least Of These today! Also thanks for sending about 30 volunteers to help us Spruce Up the Pantry. We are very grateful!
