Randale (Dog), Madi, & Taylor enjoy volunteering for the Monroe City Nutrition Center. Each week they help deliver hot meals along with cheerful smiles! They have even delivered over 30 meals in one day! Great job guys! Everybody can be great. Because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve. You don’t have to know the second theory of thermodynamics in physics to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love. Martin Luther King, Jr. #NationalVolunteerMonth

Curtis Maupin & Megan Butner pitched in to help pick up sticks & debris at a local cemetery in their community! Great job guys! Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has. Margaret Mead #NationalVolunteerMonth

Each week during #BlackHistoryMonth we are excited to highlight and honor African Americans who helped pave the way for disability rights. Today we start with, Brad Lomax. Lomax was a member of the Black Panther Party and had multiple sclerosis which required him to need a wheelchair. Recognizing the need for more disability support in his own California community, Lomax helped found the Center for Independent Living in East Oakland and pioneered a clinic which offered peer support and counseling to African Americans with disabilities. He was a leading force behind the historic 504 sit-ins that prompted the government to implement Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, which was a seminal moment in the Disability Rights movement.

Nike states that it will be available to Nike Members on February the 15th and open to the public for purchase later on this year.
