Microsoft to raise prices... They are raising the price of standalone Office by 10%, but Office 365 is staying the same for now. They are also raising the cost of Windows Server 2019, Exchange, SharePoint Server, and Project Server as of October 1. Details: https://blogs.partner.microsoft.com//announcing-price-adj/

A Miracle and an Oven? Part of our process involves reaching out to the parent or caregiver to learn about each child. We ask about the toys they may want, gif...ts parents may want the child to have, clothing sizes, and especially something only Santa would know about them. Once we start asking questions, the parent or caregiver offers lots of great information. We also ask if there are things they need for the household. Mrs. Claus received a call back from a parent one evening last week, and I was present to hear their story, as Mrs. Claus has them on speaker so she can take notes during the conversation. This particular family has 9 children, ranging in age from 3 months to 19 years, and their needs are great. Mom gave Mrs. Claus the details and needs for the 3-month-old; then she started to talk about her 1- year old. Her voice changed and she started to become emotional as she went on to tell the story of how he was shot in the head early in October and the doctors gave him a 5% chance of survival. Mrs. Claus and I just about burst into tears hearing this, so now mom was getting us back on track by saying, he is a miracle and that’s who we hear in the background playing. He still has many appointments in the future with a neurosurgeon and physical therapist, but mom reports we won’t even know he was injured when we see him. Thanks be to God!! During the conversation, mom also explained they recently lost their transportation, that her husband, who suffered a stroke, requires frequent dialysis and is on the kidney transplant list; they are living in two rooms of their home because they can’t heat the entire house; their electric oven just quit; and they don’t have enough beds for everyone. This is where Santa and Mrs. Claus say, we will provide an oven for this family one way or another. Whether it be through a donation of our many supporters, or new, we will get this done. Not one time during the conversation did mom complain, rather she was more than thankful for everything they have and for any and all help we can provide. Thank you for your support in 2018! Santa & Mrs. Claus
