I'm sure most of you have heard about the Brood -X- cicada emerging after being in the ground for the last 17 years? Be on the lookout for small, tiny dirt mounds in your lawn. Roughly 2-3 tall. This is a clear sign of them coming to the surface. Very interesting!!

Today students, our lesson is "Mowing.. the first time of the season" 1 - Sticks are everywhere.. 2 - Objects such as sticks, rocks, and other items exit a mower at tornado speed with at least an F4 rating im sure.. 3 - The unsuspecting squirrel on that tree trunk can move extremely fast.. And give you such nasty looks too..See number 2.... 4 - Starting the mower is much easier when the fuel cutoff is turned on.. 27 pulls later.. 5 - Mowing ditches is a pain.. Even when youre in shape. 6 - Stop laughing, round IS a shape.. 7 - Dogs like to leave toys in clumps of grass for you to discover with the mower.. They hide them on purpose 8 - Dogs can and will laugh at you while you cuss them.. 9 - That 6 inch stuffed toy raccoon has more stuffing in it than a queen size mattress.. It looked like it snowed in our yard.. 10 - Dogs poop.. Big dogs poop more.. Two big dogs poop too damn much.. 11 - Flying poop is bad.. Really.. See # 2. (Pun intended) 12 - That wet grass you slipped on.. Was not grass.. See # 10 above.. 13 - Always remember to remove your shoes BEFORE you get to the bathroom to clean them.. Shampooing carpet after you mow grass sucks. See more
