@justsayneesh and I were paired together through #aigakc’s year-long mentorship program. We met last week and chatted about #graphicdesign, set some goals, and bonded over imperfect Instagram feeds. I’ll do my best to impart knowledge since I’ve been in this game for a decade now () and we’re holding each other accountable for a weekly sketch! Here’s my first sketch I’ve been learning the ins and outs of Procreate on my iPad so I opted for that as my medium, but am hoping to experiment with some more traditional mediums in the weeks to come. Thanks @aigakc for organizing this awesome opportunity!

Whether any color trends today show up in future campaigns may well depend on Election Day. If candidates who used non-traditional colors win, campaigns in two years or four might draw inspiration from their trend-setting design.

Volunteering with Missouri Pit Bull Rescue has been one of the most rewarding things I've ever done (sorry guys, you can't compete with having a baby!). I'm very proud to share the launch of Missouri Pit Bull Rescue's new website. I worked with the organization's president to revamp the content and structure to make the site more modern, easier to navigate, quicker to update, and soon to be mobile-friendly!
