Hope to see you at Laura's! Lot's of new Lori Mitchell's (not just Halloween) and Dot's Pretzels has a new flavor. Also, don't forget the Bite-Lite candles for sitting outside "social distancing" with neighbors, to keep the bugs away! All natural--no artificial citronella. Thanks to everyone for your support of Main Street, we wouldn't be here---without you. This weekend many of the shops are having in store specials, come to Saint Charles and check it out!

New summer Lori Mitchell figures have arrived at Laura's!

We are open, and look forward to seeing you! Donna has made a new sign for our door, and she has made cute handwashing signs that would be great on a bathroom mirror. Larry has hung plexiglas at our register, (and--of course I had to decorate it)! We have worked hard trying to widen aisles to make social distancing easier. Larry is at the register in the photo, notice he has his facemask on. Several of us at the shop have been making masks to help others, but now we also have them for sale, most are 7.99. Happy May 1st! Today I thought often of my Mom and I making May day baskets for our neighbors. Then I would run door to door to surprise them with a beautiful bouquet on their door knob! Did any of you do this growing up? Today I took some photos of a sampling of the new bags and merchandise that has been arriving this Spring. The beautiful flower photo was sent to me this a.m. from Nancy Decker, artist, customer, gardner extraordinaire and most importantly FRIEND! We ca...n't wait to see you all again, but we will not open on the 4th. This has been a gut wrenching decision, but after our family, which includes our co-workers, discussed every aspect of our reopening we have chosen to wait at least a week. Hello Everyone! Larry and I have been working hard to prepare the shop to re-open---till then I am posting a few pictures of the shop (and my Bleeding Heart at home).
