LaunchCode is now accepting applications for LC101 our FREE, part-time introduction to computer programming course with a curriculum focused on building full-stack web developers, covering highly demanded languages and frameworks like JavaScript, Angular, Java, and Spring Boot. LC101 is an intensive, 25-week program designed to train students with skills they need to seek an apprenticeship and ultimately a career in technology. **For our 2021 courses, LaunchCode has moved all instruction remotely, pending national, state, and local health guidelines.

Thousands of Missouri high school students would like to take computer science courses, though many high schools lack access to an affordable computer science curriculum or staff who feel confident teaching it. LaunchCode’s LCHS Pilot Program, presented by Bayer Fund with additional support from AT&T, equips teachers with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to deliver high-quality, accessible computer science courses to high school juniors and seniors.
We received nearly 400 applications for our free, web development course, LC101, in the Northwest Arkansas region. We’re so excited to get this up and running! This program supported by Walton Family Foundation and in partnership with Arkansas Center for Data Sciences will provide more than 120 students with foundational education to enter into tech careers.
