2714 Geyer: This flat roof Italianate style townhouse was built in 1883 as one of the earlier residences in the Fox Park neighborhood. The house was originally... home to William Wilkins, but by 1887, it was home to a clerk named Henry Philippi who lived there for about a decade. It is an example of the somewhat uncommon flat roof Italianate style townhouse, and should be preserved. Our second heart bombing stop was 2347 Virginia: This house was built in 1869 in the Italianate style as a country house for Andrew and Laura Einstmann. In 187...7, Andrew died in the Southern Hotel fire, but Laura continued to live in the house until about 1900. This is one of the few remaining Italianate country homes in St. Louis, and is among the most architecturally significant endangered homes in the city.
