This weekend we have David Wightman coming to Landers Farm. We look forward to more education as our horses and riders improve or learn new things. We have space if you wish to remain in masks or 6 ft apart! Training for a future I hope of horse shows and growth in our sport!

It had been a long time since we had been to a RegionalChampionship and we really enjoyed it! Sara and her husband Scott made it fun as always! Thank you to all the people who put on this lovely championship!

Fanfare was Reserve Champion at Regional Finals at Third Level! Thank you Mom for being my coach! You have such a great eye and it was invaluable to have you help me!!! And thank you to both my parents for always being the wind beneath my wings!

Christoph Hess: "The Most Important Part of Training a Horse is Training the Rider's Position" This is my philosophy and those of many others. His course is $199.00. This is the principle I teach also. I encourage all riders to keep discovering the best way to influence your horses and it is in your seat, leg and mental aids into independent arms and hands . We talk often about self carriage of the horse. Perhaps we need self carriage of the rider first! Have a good day finding new communication skills with your horses. Linda

Mom and I are proud that our home bred Rose Diamond found a forever home in Massachusetts. We want to thank Heather Gasper for doing such a good job developing her the last two years and marketing her! As well as Armando for helping take care of her over the years!

David Wightman will be at Landers Farm July 23 before going to coach some riders at the Maffit Lake show in Des Moines. There is room for a few more lessons that day. Call or text me for more information 913-568-4351. Linda He will be with us every month August 21-23, September 25-27, October 23-25, November 20-22. We practice social distancing at the barn or masks. No charge for auditing. Lessons are $215 and Deena Smith is the organizer. We hope to have Alyssa Doverspike back when possible.
