Greg Becker would like to thank everyone who volunteered over the weekend to help with the tree trimming work party. Chris and Andrea Eckenfels organized the event, donated equipment, and arranged for food to be made for all the volunteers. Many others (too many to name) helped and donated equipment as well, so thank you to everyone. There was a total of 30 loads of limbs hauled to the burn pile! Bauman’s Construction has also started work on the spillway and it should be completed by the end of next week.
UPDATE: AFTER FURTHER EVALUATION OF THE SPILLWAY, THE WORK PARTY FOR 10/19 HAS BEEN POSTPONED AND WILL BE RESCHEDULED SOON. please contact Greg Becker (Board Pr...esident) with any questions. 573.944.0435. Work party scheduled for Saturday, October 19th from 8:00am - ?. Crews will be working on the spillway at Beaver Lake to prepare for improvements. This is the main lake next to the beach and maintenance shed.
Lot owners: Our annual fireworks display is provided to lot owners, by lot owners! This means that each show is funded by the generous donations each one of you contribute every year. John Pfaff (or any board member) is currently collecting donations for the 2019 show, but the donations are low so far compared to previous years. If you do not know how to contact John, please send a private message and we will help get you connected!... Thank you!
The fireworks display will be held on Friday, July 5th this year. Bring your chairs or blankets to enjoy another great show over Beaver Lake!
Work party this Saturday, 10/20! Everyone who wants to help can meet at the maintenance shed at 7:00am. Volunteers are needed to help with replacing four culvert pipes. If you cannot make it by 7:00am, you can meet the other workers near Circle Dr/Beach Lane or Beach Ln between Tall Pines Dam and Fawn Dam.... Thank you in advance for your help!
A big thank you to the Olsen family for donating this new frame for our entry sign, and thank you to Joe Abt for helping them install it! We appreciate the generosity and support in helping to maintain our beautiful Lake community!
A couple of announcements the Board President has asked me to share to this page: Mallard and Beaver Lake water levels are being lowered to prepare for work on the spillway of Beaver Lake. In addition, a trapper is working to take care of the beaver population that has been growing. Thank you!
The Board has requested that we remind everyone about the lot owners annual meeting, which will take place this Sunday, September 6th at 1:00pm. Meeting will be held at the pavilion by the beach/maintenance building.
The fireworks display will be held on Saturday, July 4th. Bring your chairs or blankets to enjoy another great show over Beaver Lake! Our fireworks display is completely funded by the generous donations of you, our property owners. So thank you for all you do to make this a great event for our families! The more donations, the better the show! If you would like to donate, please contact a Board Member or John Pfaff. Greg Becker, our Board President, can be reached at 573.944....0435. See you on the 4th!
We have a great group of several property owners who graciously volunteer their time to keep our lake community nice for everyone to enjoy. COVID-19 has been a challenging time for everyone and our volunteers are continuing to clean and sanitize the bathrooms and showers more than once each day. With only a few volunteers, it’s a lot of work keeping up with this 7 days a week. Since weekends at the lake are much busier than the weekdays, the decision has been made to keep th...e bathrooms locked from Monday - Friday morning each week, then open them from Friday morning until Sunday night until further notice. We are very thankful for the property owners who step up and help keep our environment clean!
Bathrooms will be open sometime tomorrow afternoon. Thanks!
Per LGPOA President, Greg Becker: Due to the COVID-19 virus, extra precautionary measures are needed to protect the health of our property owners. Until further notice, the Lakes Genevieve bathroom's will be closed. The water at the dump stations will be turned on in a week or so, and the front entrance signs are completed and will be installed soon. Thank you.
