The SEMO Startups Community is invited to a Bring Your Owl Bowl ice cream and movie program on Feb. 16

The 3rd floor brings you stress relief in February. Residents will be creating stress balls from cornstarch and water. This mixture will be placed inside a balloon using a water bottle as a funnel. Students will then have this formula to create a stress ball whenever they need to be relieved. Come destress with the Future Medical Professionals February 17th!

In 1 week, the Cybersecurity, Computer Science, and Engineering Community will be having a trivia night in the 4th floor north side lounge of LaFerla. Snacks will be provided.

The Honors Learning Community is hosting a Film & Fire event this Saturday! We will have a bonfire, apple cider, and hot chocolate at the Honors House, where we will project a movie onto the side of the building for the 2nd floor residents. Wear your Halloween costumes and bring blankets to sit on during the movie!

All medical majors are invited to the Future Medical Professionals cadaver demonstration program. This demo will be hosted on Zoom by the AIMS program at SLU. It will be about the general biology of a cadaver. SEMO students can watch the SLU demo on Thursday Oct. 15 at 3:30 p.m. in Dempster 105. Congratulations to the honors floor on winning the all-hall! The 3rd floor came in just behind them for a strong 2nd place finish. Ground/1st came in 3rd, and the 4th floor came in 4th. We had so much fun at the minute to win it tournament, Kahoot trivia, music note hunt, and photo scavenger hunt. Thank you so much to all of the residents who participated! We can't wait to make even more memories with you at floor programs throughout the year.

This Saturday is our photo scavenger hunt, the final event of our all-hall tournament! Compete against other floors in a race to find designated photo ops around campus. This is your last chance to earn points for your floor (remember, the winning team gets a prize). We can't wait to see you there!

After Saturday's Kahoot trivia event, the new all-hall scores are: Owlmageddon in 1st with 110 points Triple Threat in 2nd with 80 points Tomorrow's Startups in 3rd with 50 points... Cyber Cows in 4th with 30 points This week is your last chance to earn points for your floor. If you find paper music notes hidden throughout LaFerla, bring them to the front desk. Each note is worth 5 points. On Saturday at 6:30 p.m., we will close our all-hall competition with a photo scavenger hunt around campus. We can't wait to see you there!

Today begins our music note search!To go with the La-La-LaFerla theme of our 1st floor bulletin boards, we will be hiding music notes around LaFerla Hall this week for residents to find. If you find a paper music note, bring it to the front desk to earn 5 points for your floor in the all-hall tournament. Notes will be hidden throughout the week in various places, so keep your eyes peeled

The LaFerla Hall Minute to Win It event was a huge success! We had so much fun tossing water balloons, catching ping-pong balls, racing with ping-pong balls on spoons, and navigating an obstacle course.
