We are so proud to call the Labadie Depot Building our home. Many people are not aware, but the Labadie Depot Building was designed to look like a train depot. The benches outside, on the sidewalk, are actually from an old train station. In the early 2000s, driven by the poor condition of the original Labadie depot, and well aware of the train heritage of the town, area residents, with the help of some investors, came together and obtained a grant to help construct the building pictured in this post. This beautiful building is now home to Labadie General Store, Samuel Berton Distilling, Fred O. Thatcher Realtor, Sullivan Bank and Schear Labadie. All of which, I might add, are climate controlled with running water, and clean restrooms. Come check us out, and remember.....shop local, first. See ya soon.
